The National Season teams start in December and finish the middle of May (5 months). They will have two practices per week throughout the season. These teams compete in the Power Division of the Intermountain Volleyball Association (IVA) based out of Salt Lake City, UT.  Teams will travel to the Power Division tournaments, as well as 1-3 Junior National Qualifier tournaments.

Cost:  Estimated** cost 14/15/16 – $2,400.

Cost:  Estimated** cost 17/18 – $2,900.

**Prices for National Teams are estimates….cost changes are related to travel expenses (airline/hotel costs).

Regional Teams: Teams will be formed in most age groups depending on the number of players available.  Players on these teams want to play at a high level, but may not be able to make the commitment that is needed to play on a National Team. We will have some Regional Teams based in S.E. Boise for those players not able to travel for practices.

The Regional Season teams start in December and finish in May (or immediately after the conclusion of the local season). They will have two practices per week throughout the season.  These teams will compete locally/regionally in AAU tournaments.

Cost:  Cost will be a flat fee of $850.

AAU tournament schedule will be posted soon.

Train & Play: Available to girls/boys ages 8-12 who are wanting to learn solid, fundamental volleyball skills.  All learning will be geared towards training the young athlete with emphasis on learning proper technique, essential motor pattern skills, and learning to interact with other players on a team.  And, of course, having a great time!

Train & Play Sessions:  January/February – 1 practice per week

March/April – 1 practice per week

Cost: TBD

About our costs: Costs for National Teams are estimates that are based on prior years expenses.  All costs for Regional Teams will be flat fees.

Costs include uniforms, regulation ball, coaching fees, gym rental, tournament entries, hotel (if needed), travel costs (if needed), and administration fees. THERE ARE NO HIDDEN COSTS! We are a Non-Profit organization; any money not spent will be refunded to players at the conclusion of the season.

Our Facility: All Boise River volleyball teams practice at Homecourt YMCA, and regional sites in S.E. Boise. We are very fortunate to have Homecourt YMCA as our own 6 court facility to train and host tournaments. The facility has provided reliability and sense of community amongst teams of all ages. We would like to thank our host sponsors and the YMCA for making this goal a reality.
